Services Disruption

Service Disruption 738 & 740

 14th-20th February

 High Street in Leintwardine will be closed.

Due to this the 738 will run the 740 route.

Brampton Bryan, Walford and Leintwardine will be missed whilst the closure is in place. Leintwardine passengers can catch the bus at the junction of B4385 and A4113

Service Disruption 435 

10th February 2026

09:30 to 17:30 the road Wistanstow to Bushmoor will be closed. The bus will travel along the A49 during this time.

Saturday’s Only 

St John Hill is closed until the 20th Feb 26. Due to this we can’t serve Barker Street on Saturday. 

Service Disruption 740

The B4385 between Marlow to the Junction with A4113 with be Closed for the 19th—23rd January 2026.

The 740 will run from Bucknell to Leintwardine along the A4113 on the 738 route.

Bell Lane Ludlow will be closed between 08:00 - 17:00

Buses will be running from Corve St. 

Services Changed

The 552/553 service timetable has been amended.

The new timetable starts on 4th November 2024.

This amendment affects only the Monday to Friday 553 Service starting from Bishop's Castle at 7.30 am and the Monday to Friday 552 Service starting from Stiperstones at 7.50 am.

New Services

New Service 558 Montgomery to Shrewsbury

Starting 1st December 2025, we will take over the 558 Montgomery to Shrewsbury Service. The council have also revamped the timetable.

On this route we will be introducing a new Volvo bus. This bus brings improved comfort, accessibility, and cleaner technology to passengers across the route. Its Euro 6 engine significantly reduces emissions, supporting cleaner air and more sustainable travel for our community.

Inside, passengers will find high-backed seats with three-point seatbelts, USB charging points, and features to support accessibility, including visual and audio next-stop announcements and an induction loop in the priority seating area.

The ride itself benefits from electronically controlled air suspension, ensuring smoother journeys, while LED lighting and a low-floor design with kneeling function make boarding easier and the interior brighter and more welcoming.

All fares remain the same, contactless and cash payments accepted on board.
