Explore the beauty of England's largest lake in the heart of the Lake District. People come to enjoy the atmosphere of the area and the town’s delightful setting. After free time in the town we will set sail and explore the heart of the Lakes, with views of the fells. Your lake journey will start in Bowness at 14:55 and this 40 minute spectacular gives the traveler magnificent views of mountain scenery, secluded bays and wooded islands.
Upon arrival in Lakeside at 15:35 you will have 10 minutes to make the 2 minute walk from the pier to the platform at Lakeside Railway Station. Board the Railway for 15:45 and travel on the hard working locomotive that hauls trains on this steeply graded railway. Comfortable carriages ensure passengers have a pleasant and leisurely journey through contrasting views of the Leven Valley. Upon arrival at our destination at Haverthwaite station at 16:03 our coach will be waiting to make your return journey home.
